STAFFORD TOWNSHIP, N.J. — The Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce, Stafford Township Arts Center (STAC) and Ocean Comedy & Concerts are launching Saturdays in Stafford, a new four-week series running Sept. 26 through Oct. 17 that pairs live entertainment at STAC with local dining, shopping and recreation across Stafford Township.  Presenting sponsors for the series are RE/MAX of Long Beach Island and ManaFirkin Brewing Co. 

“Saturdays in Stafford is a locally owned, community-driven series created for the people who live here and the businesses that make Stafford special,” said Steve Butler, CEO and President of Ocean Comedy Series/Mighty Music Corporation. “The goal is simple: give people a reason to make a day of it, enjoy the town and finish the day with a great show at Southern Ocean County’s regional entertainment destination.”

2026 Lineup – STAC (1000 McKinley Ave, Manahawkin, NJ 08050)

• Sat., Sept. 26 — Series Kickoff: Comedian Rich Vos

• Sat., Oct. 3 — The Royal Scam: The Music of Steely Dan, featuring Manahawkin's Chris Fritz

• Sat., Oct. 10 — Comedian Colin Quinn in his only Ocean County appearance

• Sat., Oct. 17 — Series Finale: Bruce in the USA, a Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band tribute

For select shows, artists will hold 4–6 p.m. meet-and-greets at ManaFirkin Brewing Co. before their performances.

“Crisp fall nights, cold ManaFirkin beer, and plenty of laughs at the STAC — because nothing pairs better with autumn than a pint and a punchline,” said Todd Hunt, co-owner of ManaFirkin Brewing Co.

Community Partners

The Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce is the initiative's business and economic development partner, connecting the series with local businesses and encouraging them to participate. Popcorn Park Animal Refuge of Lacey Township is the series' first nonprofit community partner. LBI National Golf & Resort is the recreation and hospitality partner, and WJRZ and WBNJ Vinyl 91 are radio and community partners.  Local businesses are invited to participate by sharing series information with customers and displaying the official flyer.

“Every show on this series was chosen by people who live in the community and who are excited to showcase everything Stafford Township has to offer,” said Marybeth Weidenhof, STAC Artistic Director.  “Best of all, the revenue those nights generate comes back to our district and the students we serve.”

Kickoff Networking Event

The Chamber will host an After Hours networking event at STAC on Wednesday, Sept. 16, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., featuring live entertainment and a preview of the series. The event is open to the public; Chamber membership is not required, though registration is. Proceeds benefit the Stafford Township Historical Society. Register here.
