January 30 A Morning of Insight, Leadership & Community Updates
The Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce is proud to present the January 2026 State of the Chamber, a signature event that sets the tone for the year ahead. Scheduled for Friday, January 30, 2026, at 8:30 AM, the gathering will take place at The Mainland in Manahawkin, offering attendees a full breakfast buffet, valuable networking opportunities, and a dynamic program.
This annual event brings together influential voices from across the region to share updates, priorities, and plans that will shape the community in the coming year. Invited speakers include Southern Ocean County. Representatives from New Jersey District 9 offering statewide updates, and Ocean County Commissioner Frank Sadeghi is also expected to address county-wide initiatives, infrastructure improvements, and community development efforts. Adding a local perspective, Stafford Township Police Chief James Haldenwang has been invited to share updates on public safety, community engagement, and departmental goals for 2026.
The morning's keynote will be Mr. Kristopher Krzyston, Vice President and Regional Market Leader the Environmental at T&M Associates discussing the new NJ DEP rulings affecting coastal New Jersey. Mr. Krzyston is a seasoned environmental consultant with 30 years of experience, currently serving as the Environmental Regional Market Leader for the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic Regions at T&M Associates, a leading national consulting, engineering, environmental, and technical services company. He is a recognized expert in environmental impact analysis, project management, and regulatory compliance, contributing to numerous high-profile projects. His expertise covers freshwater and coastal wetlands, stream encroachment, tidal wetlands, and soil erosion. He is proficient in navigating complex state and federal regulations nationally, making him a trusted resource in environmental compliance. T&M is consistently recognized by national and local trade organizations for project excellence, including Engineering News Record’s list of Top 500 Design Firms and list of Top 200 Environmental Firms in the U.S.
