The Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce announces an elevated kickoff to World Cup Weekend with the World Class Business Watch Party, taking place Saturday, June 13 at the LBI National Private Event Space. Doors open at 4 p.m., with the featured Brazil vs. Morocco match airing from 5:15 to 8:30 p.m.

This exclusive evening brings together regional business leaders, professionals, and community partners for a refined networking experience set against the excitement of international competition. Guests will enjoy a curated cocktail‑style reception featuring signature food stations, soft beverages, and a premium cash bar. The private event space offers an atmosphere designed for conversation, connection, and a shared celebration of the global game.

A $30 cover charge includes a discounted pass to a sunset cruise aboard the Miss Barnegat Light, adding a memorable coastal experience. Each ticket also includes a $5 donation to Meals on Wheels Ocean County, supporting essential services for local seniors. Ocean County Commissioner Director Frank Sadeghi, Commissioner Robert Arace and Commissioner Ray Gormley will be among the local leaders attending the evening.

The World Class Business Watch Party serves as the opening event of the Chamber’s World Cup Weekend, offering attendees an opportunity to build relationships, strengthen regional ties, and engage with fellow leaders in a dynamic setting. Alongside the match viewing, the evening includes a local business and local leadership meet‑and‑greet with additional giveaways and surprises.
