The October LBI Region Report celebrates the start of fall at the Jersey Shore with community highlights and upcoming events. Rick Schmid from The Maximilian Foundation discusses their mission to build children’s confidence through school programs like Dreamy Kid and fundraising efforts such as Max’s Craft Market in Manahawkin. The foundation is hosting a Family Fun Fest and Fishing Tournament on November 2 and a family Magic Show on January 24. 

The Southern Ocean County Chamber also announced business networking events including “Bumpers & Business” on October 22, Chamber Connections on October 15, and a Women in Business wellness workshop on October 28. Local fall fun includes the Harvest Hoedown at Albert Music Hall, Fantasy Island’s Halloween Fun Fest, Sweet Memory’s Boo Bash, and the Legends & Lore tours at Tuckerton Seaport—all showcasing the vibrant, family-friendly spirit of the LBI Region this season.
