In this week’s LBI Region Report, we spotlight Adriana, Folklife Coordinator with The Tuckerton Seaport. The Tuckerton Seaport ferry is back and running Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays through Labor Day, offering scenic trips between Tuckerton and Beach Haven with guided tours along the creek and Barnegat Bay. In addition to ferry service, the Seaport offers creek tours, specialty cruises like Breakfast on the Bay, and immersive folk art experiences such as basket weaving, decoy carving, and blacksmithing. With seven exhibit buildings, hands-on classes, and opportunities to become a member or volunteer, the Seaport provides a rich, family-friendly way to explore South Jersey’s maritime history and culture.
