The Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce invites members and area professionals to its upcoming Women in Business gathering on Tuesday, April 28 at 10:00 a.m. The event will be held at The Residence at Stafford, 1275 Route 72 West, Manahawkin, and will include refreshments, networking, and a special presentation. Registration is available through the Chamber’s event calendar on their website. This members only spring program arrives just ahead of May’s Older Americans Month, a timely backdrop for a conversation about aging with dignity.
Speakers include Heather deJong, Director of Advancement & Engagement for Meals on Wheels of Ocean County, who will share insights from the organization’s “More Than Meals” initiative. Her presentation will highlight how the program delivers far more than nutrition. The event is hosted in partnership with Christina Ping, Sales and Marketing Director at The Residence at Stafford, who will discuss supportive options available to families as loved ones age. Her perspective will help attendees better understand the continuum of care and the resources available within the community.
